The second greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is the good guy
Dark forces at play.
The past few years has been akin to watching hoards of people, hypnotised, marching towards a cliff edge, and being powerless to stop it as they cascade over the edge. What could possibly explain the insanity of ‘Queers for Palestine’ or feminists promoting the burqa, proudly denying the confirmed rape and mutilation of women, of western politicians refusing to call out terrorism? It’s completely insane. It makes no sense.

I have tried to intellectualise it, moralise it and rationalise it, and in part found some explanation for some of the woke, suicidal mind virus that has taken over most parts of the free world. But I am coming to believe it is more than that. I think I am coming to believe in God.
I was researching for another article and I came upon this list:
Deception
Lies and Falsehoods
Temptation
Accusation
Division
Distraction
Doubt
Hatred
Imitation
Fear and Intimidation
Pride and Self-Exaltation
Normalisation of Evil
Chaos
I could see immediately that this list was a description of what we were witnessing in the world. This simple list describes way better than I can the methods employed to drug the masses, turn seemingly normal people in to hate filled, angry mobs.
It is also a list of the tactics used by the Devil.
“Stupidity is the same as evil if you judge by the results.”― Margaret Atwood
I think we are under attack. I think there are dark forces at play that no amount of reason can explain. I’ve said many times that this is a battle between good and evil, but it’s more metaphysical than that. I am starting to believe we are in the grips of a moral struggle between divine forces of righteousness and malicious or chaotic forces.
It seems that much of this dark force is emanating from Islamic extremism. The lie that is propagated is that this form of Islam is somehow the most devout, the most pious, the most revered of the faith, when they are the antithesis of what is good and right. They spread and perpetrate evil in the name of their God—this is the deception. That Islam is the fastest growing religion should fill anyone who values peace and inclusion with fear and dread.
“The Devil pulls the strings which make us dance; We find delight in the most loathsome things; Some furtherance of Hell each new day brings, And yet we feel no horror in that rank advance.”― Charles Baudelaire
Countries where Islamic extremism has taken a majority stronghold—Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan—are rife with violence, corruption, instability, misogyny and poverty, yet Islam continues to grow. Why?
And it’s not just the Islamic extremists we have to be concerned about anymore, in my hometown Melbourne, and in many cities Australia-wide, we have large vigilante groups made up of Muslims, ‘social activists,’ queers, blue-haired students, nurses, school teachers, white feminists and more, storming universities, attacking Jewish businesses, blockading our streets and causing chaos wherever they go. They openly chorus death chants and use fear and intimidation against anyone who refuses to join in. They cause damage to property and sew division into the very fabric of Australian society.
If we are in a climactic showdown, then the Legion appears to be winning.
The rise of social media had aided in the corruption. The spread of lies and misinformation on such a massive scale has successfully brainwashed entire generations it seems into seeking the destruction of the very institutions and ideals that have afforded them such freedoms.
Is is the work of Evil? Is the moral decay we are witnessing a sign of the rise of the Archangel? It’s possible. It is also possible that many people simply lack the ability to think critically anymore, that they are easily led, lazy, angry, discontent and full of shame and guilt, and projecting that misery onto others makes them feel better.
Ironically it is my belief in humanity that seems to be leading me to the former. I just can’t accept that people are inherently bad. When I see a frenzied mob storming Jewish businesses the word that comes to mind is possessed. When I saw what those monsters did in Israel on October 7 I can’t help but feel evil forces are at play.
What kind of false idol convinces a man that raping women and slaughtering children will bring you closer to God?
And it’s not just the terrorist that exalted in the misery of Israeli’s, normal everyday people posted their joy at the suffering, raised their fists with resistance at the systemic rape. What else explains this or than a demonic influence?
We can blame religious dogma and flawed ideology, but does that adequately explain how entire counties like Afghanistan, a country of over 42 million people, have come under the spell to erase women? Afghan women have been banned from nearly every aspect of public life: schools, universities, most workplaces – even parks and bathhouses. Over 14 million women, silenced and powerless—in the name of dvinity.
I watched a video from @magentaindigena, a Mayan heeler and truthseer, and her words rang true. She has lived experience of Islam and Judaism, and she speaks of an ancient mind viruses that has been passed down through religion, culture and society. She speaks of the Jewish people being the antidote to the forces of evil trying to take over the world. Call me crazy, but that makes sense to me.
Why is it that the Jews are the eternal scapegoats? Why have the Jews been singled out since the dawn of time as the target for hate, blame and blood libels? Why was it the Jews that the Nazi’s tried to exterminate? Why, with all of the conflicts and injustices in the world, are the Jews the only minority being persecuted on a world-wide scale for a war that is going on thousands of kilometres away?
The third example in the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance working definition of antisemitism states, "Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews."1 Sound eerily familiar? It should. It is precisely what is taking place as we speak.
These allegations without a doubt provide a mechanism with which to explain otherwise inexplicable situations. The easy cop out, blame them on the all-powerful and evil Jew.
Conflict in Israel has been a reality whenever Israel has existed as a nation. Whether it was the Egyptians, Amalekites, Midianites, Moabites, Ammonites, Amorites, Philistines, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans or the Arabs of the modern day Middle East, the nation of Israel has always been persecuted by its neighbours.
“In all history there has never been such a time of terror. It will be a time of trouble for my people Israel.Yet in the end they will be saved!” —Jeremiah 30:7
According to the Bible, it is because God has a special plan for the nation of Israel, and Satan wants to defeat that plan.2 Could that be the case? It certainly makes more sense than Trans for Palestine.
If we are heading towards the apocalypse, then how are we placed for the fight? I can tell you I don’t want to be on the side of people who think they are suffering human rights abuses on campus when they aren’t supplied water, even though it’s readily available at the 7-11 on the corner. I don’t want to stand at the front-line with those that care more about correct pronouns that the strangling death of a baby.34
I want to be with the Israelis, with the Jews. I want to be with the people that have survived attack after attack and come out thriving. I want to stand with the young men and women of Israel who understand how brutal war can be, but still put up their hands to fight for their county, for their community, for humanity. I want to be among the people that have faced evil, and fought back. I want to be with those that value life.
I will fight with them, if they will have me.
