If you haven’t already felt the seeds of doubt, I can assure you that the day is coming that you will see with clarity what many of us have seen all along.
Kelli, one thing I love about the Jewish perspective is that every person is a world.
And it is true- every life has its own huge world that revolves around it. The death of each person is the death of a world and they don’t celebrate death. That is why they trade 1 for 1000.
The rest of the world doesn’t quite get this I think. They don’t celebrate their enemy’s death and they have integrity. They mourn every death
Now they are trolling the very transparent new American President and Secretary of State, Marco Rubio with " Boycott Israel propaganda and bold faced lies. I SO can't stand it, I've unfollowed sites I would like to see. When I go to.profile pages, these people have scantily clad women and, as usual, locked profiles. I'm unsure WHO are doing these things, buts it pure anti-Israel content at it's core. It's really pathetic to put it mildly. These posts are not seeking any truth and now broaching Sharia Law in America! HELL NO!!! NEVER. They are indeed, wrong. You are right!
Thank you Kelli. Your ongoing support and empathy continue to boost my spirits. I hope you’re right and that more people are beginning to see through the lies and bullshit.
Thank you Kellie for this important article with truths that need to be heard right now! In the wake of the revelation that the Bibas Family and lifelong peace activist Oded Lifshitz are dead, people are now coming to grips with the fact that the animals in Hamas-ISIS played the whole world like a fiddle. They lied to and fooled everyone! They lied about how many people were killed in Gaza. They lied about what happened to the Bibas Family and Mr. Lifshitz. They lied about Israel bombing a refugee camp. They lied about not killing civilians on October 7th. They lied about caring for the children they kidnapped and held in captivity. If you aren’t actively supporting Israel at this point still, I don’t know where you’re moral compass is. Yes, I’m well aware Israel has many flaws and that Bibi and the current governing coalition in Israel are terrible. Yes, I’m well aware thousands of civilians perished and were displaced in Gaza. Yes, I’m aware that Jewish extremists also exist and are a barrier to peace as well. But all that being said, none of this changes what a great country Israel is, that the IDF have the most humane army in the world and that the good guys and the bad guys in this war are crystal clear! They showed who they are by marking the occasion of transporting the Bibas Family and Mr. Lifshitz’s bodies with a big party basically where everyone cheered, laughed and danced with joy as if it was some sort of perverse Ramadan celebration. The cherry on top of this s-t sandwich was when the bodies arrived back in Israel and it turns out they sent the body of the wrong person in the mother’s coffin. Hamas pleaded with the international community and Israel it was an honest mistake and vowed an investigation. But no one was fooled this time. This was them playing their typical mind games. This was so obviously done on purpose. Hamas are depraved beasts with no heart, no inner moral compass, no empathy. They are the modern day Nazis make no mistake about it. A huge number of Gazan civilians are supportive of them and love them. They teach their children hate just as the Nazis did their’s. They remain in power and aren’t going anywhere. The international community should’ve pushed for their unconditional surrender, not a ceasefire. The IDF also should’ve used a totally different war strategy. You can’t fight a conventional war against a guerrilla army. It doesn’t work. It never has and it never will. Nonetheless, the whole world now knows it’s mistake and the next time Israel and Hamas clash and mark my words that day will come, they will be on the right side of history this time around.
Thank you for this, your latest article. They are always well written, always courageous, always possessing a main point that resonates deeply here.
It seems to me from today's media that the Jewish People are deeply misunderstood and are again victims of injustice. To protect them and their peace-seeking way of life to which they are entitled (if any of us are) history has shown that the UN did at least one thing right when it recognized Israel in 1948.
People tend to see what they want to see, believe what they want to believe, and put into words what they want to put into words; what fits within their narrow schemata of the world (somewhat ironically and half to myself I acknowledge that these-- my words-- are not AI generated, putting me in the same boat) and what feels good to them in the moment. An understanding of our worlds give us some sense of control which helps keep the inner demons at bay sometimes at the expense of making demons of ourselves; helplessness can be so painful.
The motif of your article conveys reaches towards empathy and compassion. For the health of our souls, we must never let it go. The Israeli soldiers that I know that have killed for duty, survival, and what is right, have done so with something akin to this mantra in their hearts. Hope can be found in the darkest crags, in the most unexpected places and times. Viktor Frankl said something like, its something the enemy can never take from us. We must never let that go either. I end with one small hope.
Your words, "I have always believed that the truth comes out eventually": I hope that you are right.
I agree. Though I believe that the UN attempted a two-state solution from the beginning. It didn’t just offer the Jews their home, it also offered one to the Arab peoples, only some of whom accepted it. The Jews did accept what they were offered, even though the area offered to the Arabs was so much greater. ( Look at Jordan and Israel today).
I’ve lost faith in the UN entirely after recent events, which doesn’t help my mood. But ‘Some trust in chariots and horses, but we in the name of the Lord’.
Thank you, Kelli. Your article is another breath of fresh air. I can believe that Israelis sometimes mess up, break the law, go out of their minds with understandable rage at the cruelty, violence and injustice of the billions of antisemites baying for blood and for the annihilation of the Jewish people. But please show me, in the other column, anyone Arab, Muslim, Christian or even supposed allies who routinely go the extra mile, put their lives in danger to supply power, water, medical supplies and hands on support for the families of their sworn enemies. That’s what Israelis do and have done for centuries. It’s time to recognise and applaud the “asymmetrical” support shown by Israelis for the humanity of their sworn enemies, isn’t it? And we must note that there is no evidence whatsoever of Palestinian Arabs ever lifting a finger to help a Jewish child. QED
The juxtaposition of the photo of "The 3000th Palestinian Child Treated in Israel through ‘Save a Child's Heart’ in 2022"and the photo of the Bibas family, intact before the barbarity of 10/7 was jarring. In particular, it makes me question the Israeli practice of hosting Palestinians for medical care in Israel - not only children, but actual, convicted terrorists like Yahya Sinwar, who had surgery for a brain tumor while a prisoner in Israel before being released in a prisoner exchange, ultimately leading to his becoming one of the masterminds of the 10/7 atrocity.
With the Palestinians' widespread and enthusiastic hatred of Jews in general, Israelis in particular, it makes no sense to me for the Israelis to spend money and tie up medical resources in order to provide state of the art medical care to alleviate the suffering of people who would not only wish to see them dead, but raped and tortured before being killed.
While I don't want the Israelis to repay the Palestinians measure for measure, rape for rape, beheading for beheading, I think it would be reasonable for the Israeli authorities to tell Palestinians that they are free to seek medical care in one of the 57 member states of the OIC, or in one of the non-Muslim states that gives them so much encouragement and support - for example, South Africa or Ireland.
I feel you David. Jews/Israelis choose life and hope. It may seem a fool’s hope, but it is hope nonetheless. Life in Israel is complicated. As a doctor in the US who has participated in Israel medical exchange I can tell you that one of the top values of Judaism is treating the sick, going beyond all politics. Israeli medicine has created in providing for all those in need a culture unrivaled. Dozens if not hundreds of Arab Israeli doctors practice within the same creed, caring for Jewish patients with the same care as their Arab patients.
Wise educated people, dont need to shout and scream on roads and everywhere, only less wise need that to be seen.. so yes, good always wins in the ends 🙏🏻
Tolerance and empathy quickly transform into subservience and entitlement. The left shows their moral superiority over others by prostrating themselves to those they believe are oppressed. Then they attempt to pay for their self-loathing and honorary guilt by extending preferential treatment. But it doesn't work. They still hate themselves. So they try even harder.

Thank You 🤩
Kelli, I always look forward to receiving your articles, which are beautifully written and very well reasoned. This one is excellent. Thanks.

100%. There is no comparison.

I think October 7 marked the end of a lot of things David. I doubt Israel will be so accommodating from here on in.

“The soft bigotry of low expectations.” Perfectly stated.
