I'm sorry, you are wrong.
If you haven’t already felt the seeds of doubt, I can assure you that the day is coming that you will see with clarity what many of us have seen all along.
I have always believed that the truth comes out eventually. I have to believe that. I have to hold on to hope. I have to believe that the truth matters and that good prevails over evil.
I have struggled to come to terms with the psychology behind the unholy alliance between the suicidal left and Islamist ideology. I understand confirmation and media bias, the power of propaganda, and academic infiltration and funding. I understand that well meaning governments have taken tolerance and empathy so far that they have created political extremism at the expense of reality
“Truth is like the sun; you can shut it out, but it is not going away.”
I understand theoretically how we have landed in the place that we are in. However that has not quelled my stupefaction at watching otherwise sane people buy into preposterous conspiracy theories and outright propaganda regarding Israel. But then it finally hit me, many if not most of the people that are convinced that Israel are the devil, that they are harvesting Palestinian organs, training dogs to sexually assault Palestinian prisoners and killing babies indiscriminately and with glee, actually believe in the hearts that these things are true. But I’m sorry, you are wrong.
Assuming that brown people are always the victims is a very dangerous game. If the fight against discrimination was the most positive development in the cause of human dignity in the second half of the twentieth century, then the soft bigotry of low expectations must be the most problematic in the first half of this one.
It infantilises and stereotypes large groups of people, and is inherently racist. It’s the type of discrimination that makes excuses for men of certain race who strangle a mother and her babies to death, who then dance with joy over their coffins to the jubilation of the crowd.
This type of depravity cannot be compared to the unintentional civilian deaths during a dense urban war. One is not the other. If you are unable to see the clear moral chasm between the two, and you still believe you are on the right side of humanity? Then I’m sorry. You are wrong.

In our quest to to impose even greater equality into societies that were already centuries ahead of most countries in the Middle East, the West has become a victim of its own empathy, by perpetrators who not only scoff at our ideas of equality, but openly claim superiority.
Ignoring that the citizens of Gaza, whether it be from indoctrination, fear or moral failure, have displayed more than once a community penchant for celebrating joyously the rape, murder and humiliation of Israelis — even Jewish children, is to ignore a fundamental problem with the Palestinian society. This type of behaviour should be unilaterally unacceptable regardless of whether you believe the Palestinians have a legitimate gripe or not. And if you can’t see that? Then I’m sorry. You are wrong.
“Throughout history, there have been numerous instances where the truth has eventually come to light, toppling empires built on deceit and restoring justice.”
And for those that have compared the people of Israel and their supporters to Nazis, colonisers, fascists and white supremacists, you could not be further from the truth. Israelis believe in the sanctity of life. In Judaism, the value of life is central, and the belief is that all life is sacred and has inherent worth.
So despite the absolute horrors of the last sixteen months, the Jewish people do not relish in the death of Palestinian children. You will see no staged fanfare celebrating the death of children in Israel. In fact prior to October 7, Israeli hospitals treated thousands of Palestinian children each year from both the West Bank and Gaza Strip, providing them with life changing medical care. If you truly believe that Israelis are conniving for land, an ethnostate or the eradication of Gaza — then I’m sorry. You are wrong.
“People like to say that the conflict is between good and evil. The real conflict is between truth and lies” — Don Miguel Ruiz
I hate to be the messenger of an inconvenient truth, but Israel have never had genocidal intent towards their neighbours. They live rich, fulfilling lives in a beautiful and thriving nation — they just want to be left alone to live in peace, without the constant threat of their neighbours crossing the border to stab them to death or detonate bombs on Israeli buses or cafes. And, contrary to ill informed opinions, they have every right to defend themselves with force against those that pose an existential threat to their survival. And if you believe otherwise — then I’m sorry. You are wrong.
It is okay to be wrong. It’s okay to admit that you have been misinformed. In fact the ability to admit when you're wrong develops self-awareness, the ability to recognise our shortcomings, and allows us to learn.
But all actions have consequences, and unfortunately the repercussions of your moral confusion regarding the good guys and the not-so good guys has spiralled into worldwide division, almost unprecedented rises in antisemitism, and the enabling of terrorism both abroad and in our own communities. As citizens of the world, we have a responsibility to call out evil. A responsibility to seek the truth and wade through the swamp of lies and misinformation sent to trip us up.
If you haven’t already felt the seeds of doubt, I can assure you that the day is coming that you will see with clarity what many of us have seen all along.
And maybe you will be sorry that were wrong.
Kelli, one thing I love about the Jewish perspective is that every person is a world.
And it is true- every life has its own huge world that revolves around it. The death of each person is the death of a world and they don’t celebrate death. That is why they trade 1 for 1000.
The rest of the world doesn’t quite get this I think. They don’t celebrate their enemy’s death and they have integrity. They mourn every death
Now they are trolling the very transparent new American President and Secretary of State, Marco Rubio with " Boycott Israel propaganda and bold faced lies. I SO can't stand it, I've unfollowed sites I would like to see. When I go to.profile pages, these people have scantily clad women and, as usual, locked profiles. I'm unsure WHO are doing these things, buts it pure anti-Israel content at it's core. It's really pathetic to put it mildly. These posts are not seeking any truth and now broaching Sharia Law in America! HELL NO!!! NEVER. They are indeed, wrong. You are right!
