Much the same here in the UK. In a local election somewhere up north earlier this year a Muslim Green Party candidate shouted “Allahu albar” at his victory speech and said “This is for Gaza”. The national Green Party officially calls Israel an “apartheid state” and officially accuses it of “genocide”. I’d like to say I’m surprised but I’m not…
The Greens are abusing their political power by publicly supporting multiple terrorist groups, inciting violence, intimidation and antisemitic behaviour. If they spew comments like genocide and oppression they should prove it. Three word slogans are insufficient. Fundamentally , they don’t care about anything in the Middle East - this is just blatant vote seeking behaviour. I would like to hear their explanation for why the oppressed Lebanese/iranians/syrians in the Middle East were overjoyed and celebrating the one way exit of nasralah. The greens demonstrate they are not a credible alternative political party. They are a bunch of ignorant rabble with egg on their collective face. They are unAustralian. They have breached Australian laws. They should be expelled from their lucrative jobs immediately.
Spot on Anne. How is this ok? Did you see the salary these leeches get? And all these leftist morons and Muslims will vote more and more of them into the Senate. I think I’ll move to Greenland.
A good analysis Kelli. A Green’s Party member never met a terrorist they didn’t want for an in-law or a piece of regressive authoritarian legislation, they didn’t want read out as part of their marriage vows (mind you, they would never like the term “marriage”.) Yea, I voted for those scam artists too, but I can out dag you. I tried to join the socialist workers party when I was young, what the F#@k was I thinking.
Ha. I love it. Well I did have a Che Guevara T-shirt when I was about 25. Not that I had any idea about anything at 25, probably not much more these days, but I thought I was pretty cool in that T-shirt 😂
I too had a che Guevara t-shirt!! Interestingly in Cuba there are quite a few statues celebrating their heroes, the ones who are from Cuba all face out to the sea, the ones who weren't born there face inland. Che, being Argentinian faces inland....which makes him a coloniser!
I got taken in by Che Guava, I had a cap. Makes you laugh, a socialist hero, (a homophobic, racist, misogynistic sociopath), who is now a capitalist merchandiser’s dream.
I see no difference between Hamas, Isis ,and the left /green party now. They arnt as they were. As good nice honest man Robert F Kennedy said , they've been completely metamorphasized , come out /hijacked by Marxists Isis terrorists and become the party of hate murder hypocracy big tech big banks and theft as well as new con perpertual war .
Beyond being on the receiving side of the hate and scare campaign, I'm disappointed from their position because until this, I was mostly with them on almost all issues: climate change, social justice (for first nation, LBTQ..., women's rights, minorities), secularism, public funding, even the opposition to Israel's crazy right wing government and settler movement.
These are still issues I still truely believe in, not because of some childish virtue signalling but because I see the benefit to myself and my community from promoting them.
And now these people basically support movements which say I don't deserve to exist.
I used to support Greens, LibDems and Labour, until they went Woke: non of it makes any sense to me whatsoever. Moreover, I do not think the Israeli Govt is "crazy Right Wing". I've changed my mind on this, after looking at the issue objectively. In fact, I think they've actually been very restrained, considering what Israel as been faced with, since this crazed Intifada Cult began decades' ago, calling for its extinction. It all makes sense to me now, after 40 years of hearing the same old 'anti-Israel' propaganda and believing it!
Just to give context - I'm a third generation Israeli who lived there for over 30 years and served in the IDF before moving to Australia.
What Israel does in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran and some operations in the West Bank is 100% justifiable.
What I disagree with is the messianic movement to stick Jewish settlers down the throat of Palestinian population in the west bank and hope to smother them to either die or move out.
Even if you somehow think that it's justified (I don't), it's not practical.
I've not seen it personally, so I don't know, but I'll take your word for it. The problem is that I was fed so much anti-Israel propaganda by Muslims for 20 years, only to realise that much of it was a distortion of history, that I can no longer feel certain. If the Arabs had agreed to having their own State alongside Israel in 1948, instead of calling for its annihilation, then the Settlers wouldn't have been able to move into the West Bank. I'm not justifying anything, just looking at the whole issue and trying to understand it from the outside. All I ever heard Muslims say was that Israel shouldn't exist, which I found very upsetting and couldn't get my head around.
The transformation of the Greens is something that deserves a formal journalistic treatment. I used to vote for them and even considered joining (but for not being allowed by working in the public service). This was right in their epicentre inner city Melbourne, before they got enough traction to get into parliament.
They have clearly been co-opted by the hard left. The antizionist jihad isn't the only bizarre excursion, they have also alienated lots of supporters with unthinking support of throwing women & teens under the gender ideology bus.
As for people like that senator and others (including the American hit squad) they are basically shameless users. Gaining another country's benefits to advance interests of external & hostile cultures, all while claiming "oppression".
They the left used this Oct 7th to make hostages out of all of us !! they used Oct 7th much in the same way Hamas Isis terrorists did , to blame accuse us for their crimes !! They took the opportunity and utterly dumb misinformed populace to suddenly make an issue about their talking points , hypocracy and gripes, theft aims which can be summed up as hatred for that which gave them their keyboards and apples from which to spew propeganda from namely the west.. whilst they were over paid handsomely by their nfp's doing so !!! Anyway utter scam and charlatans they are !!! And yes Oct 7th shouldn't have happened, release the hostages unconditionally and bring them all back home !!

They have infiltrated everywhere
I am pretty sure my wonderfully tolerant but staunchly British grandmother is rolling in her grave right now :(

I think we need to start a class action

Did you see the announcement by the Labor govt (Oz) today about the special envoy to combat Islamophobia?
See here what the Greens truly are all about:

I'm with you on that.
The leftists of the world keep saying that "if only Israel didn't exist, or didn't occupy the west bank and Gaza, everything would be cool".
What they fail to understand for their own interest is that Muslim leaders say that they won't stop there.

Brava Kelli! Well done! I too am waiting for answers.
Congratulations on growth. Welcome to the right side.
Why does anyone care about being labeled an Anti-Semite? Grow a pair and own it, right?
