Some excellent points here. And I have talked extensively about out the issues of Islam. But I think it’s important to point out human rights abuses wherever they are.

The UN turns a blind eye to China which sits as a permanent member on the Security Council. Instead, it incessantly picks on Israel, which is the one Jewish nation among nations, over 50 of which have Muslim majorities, but do the Muslim states advocate vociferously for the Uyghurs? We all know the answer. The world is full of hypocrisy and it causes so much unnecessary suffering.

Anthony Blinken tried to raise this issue in the UN when he came to office.

Over 40 countries, most of them Muslim, signed a letter saying that there are no human rights violations in Xianjin . None whatsoever!

The topic presented here is very complex.

There are currently three officially "atheist" states in the world, namely the People's Republic of China, Vietnam and North Korea, and until recently also Cuba. During the "Real Existing Socialism" the predominantly Muslim country of Albania was officially worldwide the first "atheist" country in 1968 - but meanwhile in this land there is now a clear pressure again to be a Muslim: that doesn't make it any better.

Furthermore, one can certainly be "believing", "religious" or spiritual without belonging to a church or "faith community", or one can, "although religious", reject these 'faith communities'.

In principle, "the state" should stay completely away from of freedom of belief here, but unfortunately no state in the world really manages to do that, either, as a.o. to be seen in the US "Bible Belt" and a vast amount of "religious" Republicans who want to put pressure on others to follow their "belief".

In seven countries - Afghanistan, Iran, Maldives, Mauritania, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Sudan - "atheists" and "converts" from the "state religion" (here, without exception, Islam) are threatened with the death penalty, in 39 countries in the world there are prison sentences for so-called blasphemous statements, and in almost all "Western" countries there are so-called "blasphemy" laws that criminalize so-called "blasphemy", including officially "secular" ("laizistic") France.

Above all, what is happening to the (Muslim) Uighurs unfortunately happens precisely and especially in Muslim states with all "unbelievers".

There is NO "Islam" country worldwide with any "religious freedom".

If one complains about the treatment of Muslim Uighurs in so-called "atheism" and wants to take action against it, one should therefore also address the treatment of "unbelievers" in Muslim nations or also of supposedly "unchristian" people in quite a few "Christian" countries such as Uganda or Rwanda.

The actions of the People's Republic of China as an "atheist" state can therefore (also) be seen as a political act against the threat from numerous Islamic states in the region, but it also affects Christians in China or Buddhist Tibetans, who are also subject to massive persecution.

I myself am asking why Muslims can complain about being treated in a similar way as "Non-Believers" are treated in all Muslim countries ? That´s "real bigotry at its best"...

I am honest, I feel the same pity for them as a.o. for any Hezbollah or Hamas member.

Tragically, Muslims are NOT complaining about the treatment of the Uyghurs. No one is. There is no reason we can't be as horrified by the treatment of the Uyghur people as we are about the treatment of non-Muslims (and all women) in Muslim states.

Sad but true. To be fair, I do know quite some Muslims who are mentally open, kind and far from hating any "wrong-believers". So I cannot hate all Muslims in general. But some of them are/were objects of persecution in their own land, from envious "right-believers" - and that is the "mainstream" islam, and there are several reasons for that in this "religion" itself. As long as the majority of muslims accept or follow that and do not generally reject the clerical 'hate speech", there is no chance for the better.

Spot on, except for your starting out saying that very few people are aware of this. Billions of people are aware of what the CCP does to the Uyghurs. No one cares enough to rock the Chinese perceived money train boat.

The punishments are too strict and cruel ,BUT the Uyghurs don’t follow the laws and they are separatists

It’s typically for Muslim society that the women of the umma bearing one child after another …“give the prophet a child …!“

That’s the reason that the „religion of peace“ is the fastest growing religion, they always tell proudly

I thought this account would report about Israel 🇮🇱

Not the Muslims?

Thomas's avatar

It would never make us bad as they are -according to this Ibrahim, who blocked me or you Kelli vanished -he wants to execute every homosexual

I never said that I stand for violence against Muslims

But my sympathy is limited -that was what I wrote

We have other more important things to care about ,we can’t change what’s happening in China

Everybody wants to be a soo good human not forgetting anyone who is in need

Bravo -but we’re only Humans and do you know such thing like

Selective empathy ???

We really care about what’s in our nearest area ,our homeland or in our family

Pretending to care about the whole world is not honest and only makes us to hypocrites who want to look moral and a caring human in front of others

In reality we don’t have sleepless nights about the Uyghurs for example because OUR nearest brothers and sisters ,our mates ,friends and the citizens of our country or our supporters of our values like real democracy

Are in real danger ??!

If the Uyghurs will one day be free ? Fine !!

But don’t pretend to mourn about the lives of people who give a shit about you and your values

We’re not like Jesus and these will ,always to pretend as if we are like him is hypocrisy and not believable

Beautiful if some Jesus are amongst us ,but I don’t really believe this

I say

I will never kill a human being because of his sexual orientation or his belief or because he is non believer

That’s inhuman?!!!!

It’s not inhuman to care about more important things for our lives

Like democracy

Like freedom of speech

Like a pluralism of many democratic opinions

So don’t judge me for my denying any Muslim

In fact I have next to my many exmuslim friends

One Kurdish friend who is Muslim

But he lives his shitty religion only spiritual and he put the German laws to the top of the values

THEN he believe in Muslim laws and values

He has grown up in Germany and he is thankful for the possibilities and the freedom of thinking here in the west

I can surely live with it

But I have the damned right to accuse and deny others who prefer shariah and cruel Islamic laws

I must remark that my English lessons are many years ago and my English is very bad

I hope you understand my words

In Germany we once grown up with these terrible memories of the third Reich

And I am old enough and not leftist

So I support the only democracy in the Middle East

And this is my mission

And my destroyed homeland which is rotten and torn

Thank you

The world today seems to be under the control of Zionists who claim to be humanitarian, just and free, while their actions reveal a cruelty greater than terrorism. The genocide taking place in Gaza is a stark example of this contradiction, and it cannot be hidden from anyone. We must join together to expose these practices of Zionist terrorism.

My Sympathy for these brutal ideology of a mass murderer and pedophile „prophet“ is limited

They are raged meanwhile in Germany and I am no a friend of these in majority violent men

As a atheist member of the central council of exmuslims in Germany I know very good how hostile these people acting with human rights

So please spare me your political correctness about this fascist ideology
