Unfortunately, Rashida Tlaib is running for reelection. She should have been censured for her little act, but at least she was mocked for her public self-identification as a supporter of genocide of Jews.

Unfortunate . . .or maybe fortunate if the outcome is anything like her fellow squad member Jamal Bowman and his Oct 7th rape denying platform.

Great article. Another reason for the use of the word, Genocide, is the Islamic appropriation of anything Jewish that may have painted us as victims. The word, Genocide, was first coined because of the Holocaust. A "genocide" of the Jews. They appropriate the word for themselves so the word can no longer be applied to the Holocaust. There's a muslim author on Substack who claims she is part of the "diaspora." (She is actually part of the colonization.) We will probably start hearing more about the Arab "diaspora."

Yes absolutely. Anything to delegitimise the Jews.

Not to mention, ever, by anyone, the birth rate in Gaza. For the umpteenth year in a row, we will see a massive year over year population increase in the Envelope. On this fact alone, we can rule out genocide.

I don't know if that will happen. I think she won the primary vote, and it looks like the Republican candidate is very conservative, and the other two fringe candidates are not appealing.

At least Cori Bush is also out.

Israel does just enough on the performative aid front to keep the charitable gravy train from the U.S. rolling. It goes with being a charitable ward of American taxpayers. And our fading President, who has embarrassingly for 40 years said, “I’m proud to call myself a Zionist” was on a hot seat politically back when he still had illusions of being a viable candidate.

Remember when the feckless Biden had the US Navy build that stupid floating pier to get aid cargoes into Gaza. It was an embarrassing failure. Meanwhile Israel refused access to Israeli ports and roads to quite easily land these cargoes in Israel and let them be driven all of 10 miles or less into Gaza.

This is the reality outside Hasbara-land.

I studied international human rights with an emphasis on genocide and war crimes. The atrocities in Gaza are textbook genocide. They are textbook war crimes. You may have an opinion about it, but it is not based in actual international studies or history. Unfortunately, this type of writing is what perpetuates the inability for any type of intelligent dialogue about the Israeli Palestinian conflict.

You really think the criminals living in luxury in Qatar believed Israel wouldn’t strike back when they planned the atrocities of October 7?

You can’t see that the Palestinians are a meal ticket for these callous billionaires?

You really believe that demonising Israel isn’t one of their main strategies?

Did you ever wonder why they didn’t build a single bomb shelter for the civilians in the past 18 years?

I can already guess your answer - apartheid, colonisation blah blah. Don’t even bother.
