Hard to give a " like" to this report. So many broken, terrorized children. So few with ability and desire to help them. The U.S. has more than 300,000 missing minors, who were handed over to unknown adults during the Biden Administration. The President of this Country assisting the sex trafficking and abuse of minors. And cannot hide behind Islam for that. How very fortunate that I was born to parents who protected me and worked hard for everything. And I was their everything. Thank you, Kelli, for the expose, as difficult as it is to see and hear.

A country that can afford a very powerful army and nuclear weapons cannot bring itself to protect its children against sexual depravity. This is an absolutel disgrace on the part of Pakistan. It is also an abomination of a religion that claims to do good.

Thanks Kelli for a necessary exposure of the seamy side of Pakistan and the hypocrisy of supposedly devout followers of Islam. While this sexual abuse of children is not unique to Muslim countries, it does appear to be more widespread in them.

I agree Dan. It’s a national tragedy. And the reality is most Pakistanis don’t seem to care.

Islam has no second Commandment, what Christians refer to colloquially as "The Golden Rule." No man whose conscience is governed by such a Universal rule of fairness could treat anyone this way, especially a child.

This is so f-king sick and vomit inducing. And the West protects this violent religion. Thank you for shedding light, Kelli. This could not have been easy to research and write.

It is disgraceful. And the LGBTQ community are wearing keffyiehs in solidarity with this religion.

Check out the website for the worst countries around the world for animal cruelty. Pakistan rears pigs specifically for “poking” in addition to goats and donkeys. Even chickens are used apparently.

And people now have signs asking neighbors to curb their dog in a muslim neighborhood as dogs are considered dirty.

Abhorrent behavior subjugating poor souls of faith in humanity and the will to live. Thank you for posting.

Disgusting, but not surprising. I am surprised that none of the comments use the “No true Scotsman” fallacy to brush aside this behavior. (You know the argument, “Real Muslims wouldn’t do this, therefore these are not real Muslims.”)

At the top you wrote, “In regions where strict gender segregation is the norm, a disturbing pattern has emerged: the sexual abuse of young boys.”

I’m an Orthodox Jew. In my culture, boys and girls are schooled separately, and religious services are gender segregated. At weddings receptions, partitions divide the men from the women. The men eat and dance on their side, the women on their side. (Think “circle dances” not “couples dances.”)

Yet we don’t have this problem. Why? I like to think it’s part of our strong ethnical tradition. It also helps that the idea is abhorrent. And we believe we are always in charge of our behavior. There is no such thing as, “I couldn’t control myself.”

If it’s become common in Pakistan, a big contributing factor is almost certainly that it’s considered acceptable. If such behavior was publicly shamed, it would be reduced considerably.

Well said. There are many societies besides your own that have gender roles and do not normalize such abhorrent behavior. Most share a basic set of values/principles for humanity, that are only partially shared by Islam. That, and that the Muslim patriarchy views others as inferior/subhuman, is an open door to widespread abuse, intolerance, and worse (eg massacres). Of course it doesn’t help that the left has found common purpose in undermining western institutions, and that the left and media are aligned in giving cover to the dysfunction of Muslim-majority countries

Sounds like nothing has changed - the author M.M. Kaye, who had lived in India, wrote of this practice in either The Far Pavilion (or maybe Shadow of the Moon.) I was stunned to learn this, and that was 40 years ago. Heartbreaking.

Rape is just sexualized cruelty. Nothing about “hatred of women” involved; the victims don’t even have to be female.

Execute the perpetrators.
