I'm furious!

These two clowns need to go.

To say I am furious is an understatement. On Thursday Australia voted at the United Nations to demand that Israel reverse its ban on the Palestinian aid agency United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza¹. The motion included a permanent and unconditional ceasefire, the release of hostages, the delivery of humanitarian aid and the protection of civilians.

If you want to know what I think about that, read on.

First of all, Israel has been engulfed in a potentially existential war now for fourteen months. Despite the numerous mendacious accusations, there has been no proof that they have done anything other than precisely and quite brilliantly bring their enemies to their knees. However if their enemies had been more competent, the outcome could have been very different.

Neither our government nor the United Nations have any business dictating to Israel how and when they end a war that they never chose. Australia needs to butt the hell out and focus on the many issues that are besieging and destabilising our own nation.

That our government has given UNWRA a single cent after it has become clear that the employees and the organisation have been complicit in terrorist activities² makes me sick. There is no world was this should be acceptable.

UNRWA has to be the most lucrative and successful scam of all time. The confirmed donation pledges from the International community in 2023 to UNRWA amount to $1,463,868,250 — around $20 million of that from Australia³. The Labor government have now pledged to double our contribution.

But why is it that the organisation of never ending refugees needs so much money in perpetuity? Good question. The reality is, the actual number of Arabs who still claim to be refugees as a result of the Arab-Israeli war of 1947-1949 is today would be no more forty or fifty thousand⁴. Yet the number of refugees registered on UNRWAs books has almost reached 6 million⁵. Outside of the Palestinian territories, most refugees worldwide will spend an average of five to ten years under a refugee status. Only under UNWRA, the organisation created specifically to handle the Arab refugees from Palestine from the 1947-1949 Arab-Israel war, can you be born a refugee in Palestine and die a refugee — in Palestine!

When UNRWA claim people are refugees, what they are really claiming is a ‘right of return’ to Israel, where they were NOT born, and have NEVER lived — not to mention that the Arabs decisively lost the War in 1949, which they initiated I might add, against Israel. That UNRWA has close to 6 million ‘refugees’ on their books is a swindle of a magnitude that is hard to fathom. That countries like Australia are supporting such a farce, with billions of tax payers dollars, is criminal.

Get this. The United States, the EU, Canada, Japan and Australia fund 99 per cent of UNRWA’s annual budget, whereas the 56 Islamic countries who supposedly support the Palestinian cause, supply less than 1 per cent⁶. They know a scam when they see it.

An NGO for Palestinians by Palestinians is run like every other organisation in Gaza, with corruption and terrorism. Since October 7, multiple employees of UNRWA, just like the World Central Kitchen⁷, have been outed as members of Hamas. For God’s sake, a Hamas underground base was piggy backing their electricity from UNRWA offices above it!⁸ Wake up people! It’s a rort!

Billions and billions of dollars sunk into a bottomless pit, and what is there to show for all that money? Gaza is as much of a shit hole as it was over seventy years ago. The only advancements that have been made in Gaza is the 300 kilometres of underground terror tunnels and an increased birth rate. UNRWAs legacy is that they have squandered a unique opportunity, through their schools and educational programs, to teach tolerance and empowerment, but instead chose to encourage the murder of Jews, create teaching materials that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonise Israelis and incite antisemitism. !

Palestinians, are the only refugees in the world who pass on their refugee status through the generations.

Instead of encouraging self sufficiency and equality, UNRWA has spent decades validating and creating new generations of victims and terrorist supporters. Enabling UNRWA to continue unabated is as irresponsible as it is absurd.

Now to address the UN’s call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire. I guess we should be grateful this time they at least mentioned the hostages. Small mercies. Not that Hamas give a damn about any UN resolution. They have openly stated that they would prefer to execute the hostages rather than hand them back to Israel. And they have proven that they will. To even be treating Hamas like a reasonable negotiating party at this point is comical.

Without the full and complete dismantling of Hamas and the other Jihadist groups in Gaza, there will be no peace in the region. To even mention a ceasefire while innocent hostages still remain captive is outrageous. What the UN should be doing is calling for the unconditional release of the hostages and the unconditional surrender of Hamas, or else suffer the consequences of a united alliance backed onslaught that will deter for good the detestable abduction of innocent hostages.

It is a ridiculous notion to think that Palestinians have any chance or desire to create a functioning and peaceful state. It would be laughable, if the outcomes weren’t so serious. How many more billions and billions of dollars are we going to throw at this perpetual failure. When does it stop?

I am disgusted by my governments cowardice and stupidity. Under their leadership we have a homelessness crisis⁹, our hospitals and mental health sectors are a shambles, the cost of living has sky rocketed, and our National debt sits at around $900 billion. Just a thought, but maybe our government should be spending more time dealing with our local issues rather than taking part in sham UN votes that only serve to drag out the conflict and teach a new generation of terrorists exactly what strategy they need to implement to get your vote, and access our billions.

I eagerly await the federal elections in 2025. This government needs to go.
