I wanted to give a shout out to one of my favourite Substack accounts @Ash_1952, who tirelessly shines a spotlight on important human rights abuses that are often ignored or forgotten by the media — and provided the basis for this article. Thank you for your work.
It is hard to fathom how queers, trans and feminists can march in support of Islamic extremism. We have all seen these groups stand side by side with protestors waving flags that belong to terrorist groups. We have all been confused when prominent feminists refer to Hamas or Hezbollah members as ‘freedom fighters’.
And while it’s impossible to get an accurate picture, its safe to say that still a large percentage of Palestinians still support Hamas — depending on which polling you believe, anything from 26 to 40 per cent.
Whether it be Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Isis, Al Qaeda, the Islamic Republic of Iran or any of the plethora of Islamic terrors groups, their modus operandi is the same. They have all spawned from the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, the standard-bearer for Islamist groups around the world.
If at this point, you are stupid enough to believe that any of these organisations give two hoots for the oppressed people of their homelands, then nothing I can say will change your mind. But I think its important to know who the men are that you are aligning yourselves with. So let’s take a little skip down memory lane, and compile a few examples of Islamic ‘resistance’.
Forced to eat babies
In August 2014, the world witnessed a genocide. Over the course of two weeks, the Sinjar region of Iraq was invaded by the Islamic State (ISIS). ISIS militants undertook a strategised campaign to ethnically cleanse the Yazidis from existence.
Approximately 400,000 Yazidis fled to the neighbouring Kurdistan Region of Iraq and tens of thousands took refuge on Mount Sinjar, where they faced near starvation. The rest, unable to flee, were killed or taken into captivity and subjected to horrific acts of violence — enslavement, forced labor, conscription, torture, and rape.
More than 6,000 women and children were taken captive by ISIS and nearly 2,800 are still missing today. Sexual violence was strategically used as a weapon of war and codified in ISIS manuals that explained how to traffic Yazidi women. ISIS believed that violating women would destroy the community from within.
This year, while taking part in the Gaza ground offensive, a Yazidi woman who was being kept as a sex slave in Gaza, was rescued and freed by the IDF.
Fawzia Sido1 was just nine years old when she, along with two of her brothers, were captured by the Islamic State in 20142. Starved for days, Sido’s captives served up meat and rice one day, to which the women felt like the taste was a bit strange, but ate it nonetheless as they were starving.

Sido went on to report, “They showed us pictures of beheaded babies, and said ‘these are the kids that you ate now.’ One woman suffered heart failure and died shortly after. The mothers of these babies were there also. One mother recognised her own baby because of its hands...”
This was not an isolated case. First hand testimony by other Yazidi survivors also claimed they had been fed human meat.
Beheadings
Not content to simply slaughter the infidel, Islamists have made beheading of victims one of their signature moves. And making a video of the beheading and posting it online achieves double points in the Islamist handbook.
Although partial to other means of mass murder such as suicide bombings, poison gas and hijackings, beheadings have more of a theatrical impact. Car bombs and suicide bombings achieve quantity, however they have lost much of their shock value in Western eyes. However sawing off the head of a Western or European journalist or a relief worker, then uploading the video to the Internet, is a great way to achieve notoriety.
In 2020 more than 50 people were beheaded in northern Mozambique by militant Islamists The terrorists turned a football pitch in a village into an "execution ground", where they decapitated and chopped bodies.3
In 2020, French teacher Samuel Paty was killed outside his school in 2020 after showing his class cartoons of the prophet of Islam during a debate on free expression. Six teenagers were convicted for their roles in the beheading.4
In 2015 the Islamic State released a video showing the beheadings of 21 Egyptians captured in Libya. The footage shows a group wearing orange overalls being forced to the ground and then decapitated. The men, all Coptic Christians were seized in two attacks in December and January from the coastal town of Sirte in eastern Libya.5
in 2017 a Quran-carrying Tunisian man beheaded a woman and fatally stabbed two other people in a church in Nice. In the same month, two British-born Islamic State militants were brought to the United States to face trial for their participation in a brutal abduction scheme in Syria that ended with American and other hostages being beheaded on camera.
Vittoria Arrigoni
Vittoria Arrigoni, was a pro-Palestinian activist, who spent three years in Gaza working with the International Solidarity Movement. In April 2011 Arrigoni was kidnapped by Islamic radicals who sent a message stating; “The Italian hostage entered our land only to spread corruption." The video called Italy "the infidel state". In a video posted on YouTube, Arrigoni appeared to have been beaten and his eyes were covered with thick black tape. Security forces managed to locate the house where Arrigoni was being held. When they entered the house, the terrorists had fled and the body of Arrigoni was found, tied to a chair and strangled.6
Arrigoni aligned himself politically with reactionary, violent, Islamist movements such as Hamas — but not even having terrorist friends with benefits was enough to prevent him from a violent brutal extremist death.
Killed for being gay
Palestinian Ahmad Abu Marhia7 had spent two years in Israel waiting on an asylum claim to flee abroad after receiving death threats from within his community for being gay. In October 2022, in the West Bank, the 25 year old Ahmed’s severed head was found on the side of the road after he was murdered for being gay. The killer videoed the execution and shared it online.
In 2016, Hamas militants executed one of their own commanders, Mahmoud Ishtiwi, for allegedly having sex with another man8. Prior to executing him with three bullets to the chest, Hamas reportedly tortured by whipping him and hanging him from a ceiling for hours — until ultimately beheading him.
Ali Fazeli Monfared, known to friends and on social media as Alireza, was reportedly kidnapped and beheaded in Ahvaz, south-west Iran in October 2021. His partner told reporters he may have been kidnapped and killed by family members after they discovered evidence of his sexuality — an honour killing. After finding the exemption card from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps after disclosing his homosexuality, a group of male relatives took Fazeli Monfared to a rural village and killed him9.
Islamic sex slavery
Offering kidnapped women and girls to jihadist fighters as sex slaves or wives is a recruitment tool — who hasn’t dreamed of a life where you nab yourself a free sex slave. This dangling carrot helps militant groups lure and retain members, while sex trafficking can bankroll their extremist operations.
Groups such as Boko Haram in Nigeria and Islamic State in Syria and Iraq often resort more to such practices as they lose ground militarily.

"Propaganda on sexual slavery serves as an incentive for new recruits and foreign fighters, with the promise of wives and sex slaves acting as a 'pull factor'," researcher Nikita Malik said, in the Henry Jackson Society report.10
"Religious elements are infused into sexual violence practices to skirt around the moral wrongdoing of rape," she said."Historical revenue streams, including taxation and oil sales, to groups such as Islamic State and Boko Haram are decreasing," Malik said in a statement.
"These are being replaced with hostage-taking and ransom efforts, meaning modern day slavery may increase as Daesh struggles to sustain its financial reserves," she said.
The report said Islamic State generated up to $30 million in 2016 through kidnapping and abductions. Seems selling off women is a lucrative strategy.
If you’re reading this and trying to tell yourself that the men of Hamas, or Hezbollah, or the Houthis are any different from the men of Boko Haram or Daesh, then you are living in a dream world — you don’t understand the reality of the Muslim Brotherhood, of Islamist attitudes to women as property.
If you are still clinging to the belief that there is a clear line between Islamic extremism and the rest of a good portion of Islam, I urge you to read some of the lived experience by women like Yasmine Mohammed or Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who grew up in what would be considered ‘normal’ muslim families, and suffered terrible abuse. Not all muslims, of course. But where are the muslim organisations, or protests, or viral social media campaigns, or Islamic leaders saying “Not in our name,” after what happened on October 7?
We cannot change or reform what we don’t acknowledge. And when queers, or feminists, or fatties, or Code Pink, or whatever minority group has joined the party, pretend that Islamist men are freedom fighters, rather than what they actually are, which is violent, misogynistic, brutal members of a jihadi death cult, then they are not only idiots, but they have become complicit in the enabling of evil.

They love to scream “apartheid” at Israel on the streets, online, and especially to the faces of us Jews. They wilfully ignore the greatest single example of apartheid today: gender apartheid. Women and girls are routinely subjected to discrimination, oppression, intimidation, violence, torture, rape, and genital mutilation. They are treated as the chattels of male overlords, not as equal beings.
Until this changes in Islamic jurisprudence, countries, and people, the fate of millions of Muslim females will remain in the hands of men, who will continue to brutalise them and nothing will change for the better.
It also goes a long way toward explaining the systematic abuse of white girls in Britain at the hand of Pakistani Muslim “grooming gangs”, which is a euphemism for mass paedophile rings responsible for the abduction and rape of hundreds of white British girls.
There are people who are responsible for all of the above and they must be stopped from further abuses, apprehended, and punished.
I saw the Muslim Brotherhood in action here after 9/11. A local mosque -ISNA-participated in a joint remembrance. But the imam (now with CAIR) had an escort! Of hulking Muslim Brotherhood men. My neighbor had the audacity to thank the imam (trying to show her acceptance) but the Brothers were offended she’d try to speak to the imam!!! They’d have beaten her or killed her-the hatred in their eyes was clear. Not sure she saw it, either.
